At most orchards, picking apples is just one of the many activities that will make this your next fall favorite tradition. As you plan out your calendar for the quickly-approaching fall season, check out some of these orchards and farms around the Carolinas. 

 

Sky Top Orchard

Sky Top Orchard is a Carolina favorite in Flat Rock, NC. This orchard offers a bamboo forest to explore, orchard ponds with ducks and geese, a barnyard area with sheep and other farm animals, and, of course, a mountaintop of apple and fruit trees. Carrigan Farms

This family owned, Lake Norman staple has been around for five generations and farmed on the same land for over 100 years. The Orchards at Altapass
